What data we store

CanvasForge stores the following data when you use our service:

  • Email address — Used for login via magic links. Stored when you request a login link.
  • Presets — Component settings you save (name, component ID, settings JSON). Stored when you save a preset while logged in.
  • Subscription data — Plan type, Stripe customer/subscription IDs, status, and period end. Stored when you purchase or manage a subscription.
  • Usage data — Daily copy count per identifier (hashed IP + user agent for anonymous users; hashed user ID for logged-in users). Used for rate limits.
  • Session data — Stored in cookies to keep you logged in. No passwords are stored.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide the service (login, presets, billing), enforce usage limits, and improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so:

  1. Send an email to the contact address provided by the operator of this CanvasForge instance.
  2. Include your email address and state that you wish to delete your account and all associated data.
  3. We will delete your user record, presets, usage records, and subscription link from our database. Note: billing records may be retained by Stripe per their policies; cancel subscriptions separately in your Stripe billing portal if needed.

Cookies

We use session cookies for login and a theme cookie (cf_theme) for light/dark mode preference. These are essential for the service to function.

Third parties

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. If analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are enabled, their policies apply to data they collect. Check your instance configuration for details.
